Should you have your water tested?  The question of whether or not to have your water tested is a serious one that concerns the health of you and your family.  In addition to illness, a variety of less serious problems – such as taste, color and staining of clothes and fixtures – are symptoms of water quality problems.  In addition to your drinking water we can also analyze your swimming pool, whirl pool and hot tubs for bacteria and chemicals.  CEL has the expertise to help you decide what test you need to perform at an affordable cost. Dentist and Physicians

Chronic stomach problems, pregnancies, cancer, other illness are the main reasons your physician will order a water analysis on your drinking water.  Test that could be of interest are Bacteria, Nitrate, Lead, Arsenic and pH.  These tests should be conducted following a rainy period.  

Fluoride is a natural occurring mineral found in well water.  At low levels, fluoride can help prevent cavities, but children drinking water containing more than 2 milligram per liter (mg/L) of fluoride may develop cosmetic discoloration of their permanent teeth (dental fluorosis).  Your dentist may request a fluoride analysis on your drinking water to better aid in the proper use by young children of fluoride containing products.

CEL is fully certified to collect and analyze for Enterococci Bacteria and other nutrients in our recreational waters and water way.  Having an account with our laboratory enables you the ability to collect after hour emergency samples with the comfort of knowing there is a trained staff member ready to accept and analyze your samples in the required time needed.

Water Conditioning Companies

Most water conditioning companies do their water analysis on the field. For the more complex water analysis, that cannot be done on the field, we are glad to assist with an in house profile water test. In addition, if there is a conflict of interest between the water conditioning company and the client we can offer an independent state certified water analysis to satisfy both parties.
